I decided to let him up this morning because he was being so affectionate. He promptly knocked over my mirror, climbed through the closet, dislodging several jackets, and then ran up and started knocking books out of the bookcase (I kept replacing them and he kept knocking Dante and Dickens back out). Now he is climbing on the ironing board and trying to tip over my stack of mail.
