Partridge in a Pear Tree 4.0

Because some traditions are too cute to abandon.

He still tries to climb that tree. He does very poorly, nowadays, with his large girth.

Anyway, I didn't realize until now that each year I've taken this shot with a different camera. Ho hum. If all goes as planned, this time next year it'll be taken with a D100 DSLR.
